But if organic causes are eliminated, this disordered menstrual pattern can be diagnostic of Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB.)

DUB is a menstrual flow disorder that causes menstrual periods to last for extended lengths of time, bleeding multiple times during the same month, and/or a hemorrhagic menstrual flow that may require multiple sanitary pads.
